Start by adding dried pasta to an empty Dutch oven or stock pot.

Pour over the milk of your choice.

Pile on shredded cheese. Cover with a lid and set it on the stove.

Let cook until it comes to a boil. Stir every couple of minutes, scraping the bottom, to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom and burning.
