Vegan Master Sweet Dough

This is the only vegan sweet dough you’ll need for all your enriched baking needs. You can knead this by hand or in a stand mixer.

Option 1: Knead by Hand

You can either do this right in the bowl or turn the dough out onto a flat work surface like a countertop for a bit more space.

Option 2: Tuck-and-Fold Kneading Method

To start with, knead your shaggy dough mixture by folding it in half and punching down with your fists.

You don’t need to be very gentle with the dough at this stage. Do this until you have a fairly smooth ball.

This step shouldn’t take too long at all, less than five minutes.
