melt vegan butter

you can use the same pan you used for the tangzhong

add melted butter to the mixer bowl

add sugar and salt

add flour

start mixing with dough hook

kitchenaid mixer speed 3

add yeast

knead for 15 minutes

kitchenaid mixer speed 2

form ball, cover and rest for 1½ hours

dough should grow at least 1.5× in size

press out air bubbles

fold into a rectangle, then slice into 8 pieces

cover and let rise 30–45 minutes
